LCRE Holiday Tradition: A Gift Exchange That Gives Back! 🎁
At LCRE, we’ve put our own creative spin on the traditional holiday gift exchange - and it’s one of our favorite ways to celebrate the season.
Here’s how it works:
✨ We draw names anonymously.
✨ Each person picks a toy that reminds them of the person they drew - inspired by a funny story, an inside joke, or their hobbies and interests.
✨ During the exchange, we explain the story behind each gift as it’s opened. It’s a heartwarming (and often hilarious) way to connect and celebrate as a team.
✨ At the end, all the toys are donated to a local charity to brighten the holidays for kids in need.
This tradition combines our creativity and camaraderie, all while giving back in a way that feels uniquely us.

As December kicks off, LCRE is reminiscing about our recent holiday party. While we may have celebrated a little early this year, the timing allowed every single member of our team to be part of the festivities - a priority that means so much to Scott and Ian. As our team continues to grow, making sure everyone can come together is something we value deeply, even as it becomes more challenging to maintain.
This year is especially meaningful as we celebrate our 5th anniversary as a company. Reflecting on how far we’ve come, it’s incredible to see the growth - not just in our business, but in our experiences, opportunities, and most importantly, our team. What started as a small but mighty group of 8 has grown into a powerhouse of 20 individuals, each bringing something special to the table.

Last week, the LCRE team had the privilege of attending the @realtyresourcesnetwork Fall Retreat in Houston, hosted by @newquest__ .
The summit brought together 200 leading professionals from across the country for two days of dynamic panels, networking, and collaboration. We gained valuable insights and made meaningful connections that will help us continue driving innovation at LCRE.

Last Friday, our team came together for a fantastic cause at Scout Realty Group`s `Battle of the Brokers` trivia night, benefiting Friends of Kids with Cancer. Despite not clinching the trophy, we had an absolute blast and enjoyed the camaraderie with our industry peers.
A huge shout out to @scout.realty.group for organizing such a wonderful event and for their unwavering support of @friends_of_kids . This organization holds a special place in our hearts here at LCRE, as one of our own, @madison_akers , bravely battled childhood cancer.
Reflecting on her journey, Madison shared, "They were a vital part of helping me still feel like a child during an incredibly dark season that no kid should go through. I participated in their annual fashion show fundraiser, they provided food for some of the patients while they were in the clinic receiving treatments, I attended several special events, and received a scholarship from the organization while I was in college."
This year, Madison celebrates an inspiring 14+ years cancer-free!
